Any one in particular strike your fancy??  I kind of like Number 1800... I am thinking that would be a great scrappy group project.... Love of folks could sew in on that one!!

  1. These are lovely!!! It's hard to decided which is my favorite, but I'm kind of partial to 1800 and 1787, but then again the last one is very cool too!!! I love the signatures in 1787 though, esp. the offsetting of them with the 9 patch! There is going to be some lucky veterans soon to receive them!

  2. My quilt #1800 is a free download from Moda Bakeshop--Flying in Squares. There are ONLY 108 flying geese!! I used the no waste method and did them all in three hours! Doing the squares after that was easy.
We always collect signatures at our booths, and had gotten bored with the square split diagonally. So 1787 was my brain child at Road--we had some 9 patch blocks on hand, and I decided to add the signatures and cornerstones around to use up some scraps we had cut.
