My tip is this: wear or carry something that displays "QOV" (such as a t-shirt or tote bag). That small gesture provides an opening for discussion when shopping LQS or in the community. I also try to show at least one or two completed quilts to the guilds I belong to each month and ask anyone interested in further QOV information to contact me at the end of the meeting.
